Fluid Coolers

Also known as free-coolers, fluid coolers are air/water heat exchangers that use ambient air to cool water. While often used for process cooling with water and water/glycol mixtures, fluid coolers are also suitable in other applications.

They are ideal for “free cooling” in colder climates, computer rooms/data centers, secondary heat exchangers, supermarket systems, and remote radiators for diesel or gas engines. Fluid coolers work using axial fans to generate air circulation through the coil(s), requiring minimal energy. The closed-circuit system keeps salts unchanged and avoids deposit growth.

Fluid Coolers

Easy to install and integrate into existing cooling systems, fluid coolers are free of process water contamination and offer a quick return on investment (ROI).

  • Process fluid cooling for a variety of applications
  • Low energy demand
  • No water required
  • No process water contamination or salt deposits
  • Easy installation and integration with existing cooling systems
  • Quick ROI
