Overview

Drake's refrigeration chillers are custom-designed to your application, creating exact temperature control in your specific space.

With over 50 years of experience designing and building process chillers for refrigeration applications, we are uniquely qualified to provide the ideal engineered solution to meet your process needs. Other large manufacturers produce off-the-shelf chillers designed for comfort cooling – not the tough rigors of year-round, low-temperature applications. We’ll work directly with you to develop an economical refrigeration chiller that meets your specific process requirements. Whether we provide chilled glycol for walk-in freezers or water for greenhouses, our refrigeration chillers are entirely customized for your application. Let us take the heat so you don’t have to!

Types of refrigeration chillers

With both air-cooled and water-cooled systems available, our line of refrigeration chillers offers the ultimate in flexibility.

Air-cooled:

The air-cooled refrigeration chillers rely on ambient air to direct heat away from a cooling process. Most companies appreciate their energy-efficiency, space-savings, and swift and economical installation package.

Water-cooled:

On the other hand, water-cooled refrigeration chillers require water from an external cooling tower to remove heat from your process. The benefits of these cooling systems include a long life span, quiet operation, and energy-efficient properties.

Benefits of a Drake refrigeration chiller
What to look for in a refrigeration chiller company

Before selecting a company for your industrial refrigeration chiller, consider the following factors to ensure the system will work as hard as you do:

Decades of experience

The newest player on the market may not have the expertise and in-depth industry knowledge required to design a high-performing chiller. Look for a partner that’s been around a while.

High uptime rate

Before settling on a refrigeration chiller, ensure the company you’re considering can prove that their systems are designed for maximum uptime. Choose one that’s as close to 100% as you can get to provide peace of mind that your processes will keep running.

Engineered solutions

Off-the-shelf and one-size-fits-all chillers are not suited for the rugged industrial refrigeration requirements. Ensure the company you choose can tailor your system to meet your specific processing needs.

Short lead times

Time is money! Whether in-stock or custom-designed, confirm that the refrigeration chiller company you choose can turn your system around quickly so that your refrigeration process stays strong.

Reliable service and support

When you invest in a refrigeration chiller, you deserve support from a team that stands behind its product. Don’t get left in the cold! Look for a company with both customer and technical service available and stands resolute in its commitment to after-the-sale support.

Affordability

Before settling on a refrigeration chiller, ensure they’re dedicated to providing an economical solution that won’t break your company’s budget.
